Controls
- Move using WASD or tap/click. Right-click (or double-tap) to perform actions like picking up food or attacking.
- Open the command menu with a left-click, Ctrl, or by pressing down on your ant.
- Chat with teammates by pressing Enter.
Starting a New Colony
- As a new colony leader, you will start as the queen.
- Seek out an ideal nest location near food sources, humid (dark) dirt, and dry (light) dirt.
- Look for subtle surface hints indicating where to dig for humid and dry dirt.
- To dig and establish your colony, right-click (or double-tap) on the selected ground.
Growing Your Colony
- Teamwork is essential! Collaborate and communicate effectively with fellow players.
- Ensure that your queen and larvae are properly fed. Gather food (green balls) and deliver it when you see the white hunger icon over their heads. AI will assist in feeding as well.
- Place eggs, larvae, and pupae in moist dark dirt; food should be stored in light dry dirt underground.
- Expand your territory by double-tapping on dirt tiles, ensuring dirt is placed externally.
- Continuously forage on the surface to maintain your colony's food supply.
- Defeated spiders drop blue food; feed this to larvae to develop soldier ants!
Victory Conditions
- Strategically build your colony until you can overpower all enemy queens.
- Achieve victory for your team once all opposing queens are eliminated!
Effective Strategies
- As a new colony, conceal your nest by building it under rocks to obscure the entrance from enemies. Keep in mind that a larger colony may eventually be visible!
- Relocate your queen away from the entrance to safeguard her from enemy raids. Protect her at all costs, as her demise leads to your defeat.
- Enhance tunnel width as your colony grows; narrow pathways (only one tile wide) can hinder your ants' movement.
- During a raid, consider sealing off the queen's location to protect her from attackers, but remember to reopen access for food collection.
