Traitors.io is an exhilarating top-down stealth-based shooter where strategy and cunning are your greatest allies. Experience intense rounds of gameplay with up to 8 players competing at once!

Game Features:

• Blend In: Conceal yourself in a crowd of decoys and launch surprise attacks on unsuspecting opponents.
• Powerups & Hazards: Utilize a diverse array of powerups and stage hazards to outsmart your foes and ensure your survival.
• Dynamic Rounds: Engage in electrifying 1v1 matches or participate in larger arenas filled with action.

Controls:

• Move: Left Click
• Shoot: Right Click / Press Q
• Activate Powerups: Space / W

Gameplay Mechanics:

• Start with 10 bullets. Bullets gradually recharge when you’re not firing, but being too trigger-happy reveals your location!
• Every 35 seconds, real players and three decoys are highlighted for all to see. This adds an extra layer of strategy as you navigate the battlefield.
• Killing an opponent increases your range, making you deadlier with every victory.
• Watch for the names in the upper left corner: greyed-out names indicate defeated players. Eliminate all to win the round!

Strategic Tips:

• In 1v1 scenarios, stealth is your best friend.
• In larger matches, adopt a more aggressive stance to dominate your rivals.
• Utilize powerups on foes, pick them off, and disappear back into the fray with stealth.
• Powerups like Shotgun and Rapid Fire can shift the tide of battle—seize them whenever possible!

Intelligent Bots:

• Experience thrilling gameplay against bots designed to mimic genuine opponents. They play fair and remember player actions.

Bot Difficulty Levels:

1. Random strategies with poor memory.
2. Improved strategies and memory for enemy locations.
3. Logical strategies and average shooting skills; can dodge bullets.
4. Advanced decision-making with predictive tactics.
5. Highly skilled with optimized shooting and dodging skills.

Powerups and Map Events:

Stealth Powerups:

• Invisibility (Blue): 30% spawn rate: Grants invisibility for 7.5 seconds and spawns 2 decoys upon reappearance.
• Decoy (Aqua): 15% spawn rate: Creates 5 decoys at your location.
• Teleport (Light Purple): 3% spawn rate: Instantly transports you to your mouse's location.
• Blackout (Black): 2% spawn rate: Temporarily hides the game.

Combat Powerups:

• Shield (Green): 19% spawn rate: Absorbs one shot for 30 seconds.
• Range Upgrade (Purple): 11% spawn rate: Expands your shot range indefinitely.
• Shotgun (Red): 5% spawn rate: Allows you to shoot 6 projectiles in a cone.
• Radar Shots (Red): 5% spawn rate: Marks enemies with a radar pulse where your bullets land.
• Rapid Fire (Orange): 4% spawn rate: Grants infinite ammo with a quicker firing rate.
• Speed (Green): 3% spawn rate: Increases your movement speed.
• Reveal (Red): 3% spawn rate: Highlights all enemies for a limited time.
• Super Poison Shot (Dark Green): Rare: Causes a lethal poison effect after round 2.
